Videobotics Robotic and Video Device Control Systems for OEMS
Please CALL - 805 349 1104 (CA Time Zone)
The flexibility and universality of Videobotics robotic network and direct command set is geared toward the best and simplest integration of your devices into a coherent whole command environment. TCP/IP (network) technology is universal across operating systems and provides the ideal framework for communication between disparate devices. We are able to fully support manufacturers and designers with a number of capabilities of special interest:
- GUI or GUI-less direct and network-control drivers for
- Popular cameras from Sony, Elmo, Panasonic, Vicon and others
- Mechanical Pan-Tilt devices from Directed Perception and Videolarm
- DVD players from Pioneer (V7400, V7200, V5000)
- Professional VCRs, DVD Recorders, and Disk Video Recorders
- Video switchers from Newtek, Datavideo, NCD, and Extron
- Integration between multiple disparate devices
For example, we have provided customers with special applications to control radar or Pan/Tilt device positioning from a robotic camera's positional information. Our drivers can both read and write angular position information for a number of robotic PTZ cameras and Pan/Tilt devices. Our universal TCP/IP network communications/command protocols mean that integration of disparate devices is independent of operating systems or low-level programming details. Our camera and pan/tilt drivers support many dozens of simple and universal English-like ASCII commands including read/write of angular position. You can read or set the position of a Directed Perception Pan Tilt device using the same commands as would be used for a Sony PTZ robotic camera.
- Custom Java Applet, Servlet, and Application Development
We can develope direct or network-remote control for almost any RS232 device. We created the first cell-phone-based network-remote camera positioning system in Japan for use with I-Mode phones using Java Servlet techniques.
- TINI (tm) Microcontroller board-based Control
Want a board instead of Windows software to control your device? We have solutions using Dallas Semiconductors' TINI board. Our drivers can operate from the TINI board environment instead of a Windows PC. TINI has ethernet and RS232 capabilities and we already have experience porting our CamMotion and related software to the TINI environment. With our TINI board solutions you can have a stand-alone PC-less system to control your devices over your network or the internet.
